California Prescribed Fire Training Providers Directory Registration Form
The California Prescribed Fire Training Providers Directory Registration Form allows qualified organizations, agencies, nonprofits, educational institutions, and training programs to list their prescribed fire and wildland fire training opportunities in the statewide California Prescribed Fire Training Providers Directory.
This free resource helps connect students, fire practitioners, landowners, Prescribed Burn Associations (PBAs), agencies, and community organizations with recognized training providers offering courses, workshops, field days, certifications, and qualification support throughout California.
The directory is available at no cost and is open to organizations that provide prescribed fire, wildland fire, incident management, chainsaw, firing operations, leadership, or related fire practitioner training. Participants may choose to list their organization name, contact information, service area, website, course offerings, and training delivery methods.
The goal of the directory is to:
Increase access to quality prescribed fire and wildland fire training
Support workforce development and practitioner qualifications
Help students and practitioners find local training opportunities
Strengthen collaboration among training providers statewide
Promote recognized and standards-based training programs
Expand community capacity for safe and effective prescribed fire implementation
Training providers are encouraged to submit their information and help grow California's statewide network of prescribed fire education, training, and professional development opportunities.
Organizations operating under recognized Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) or approved training agreements with NWCG member organizations, State Fire Training, federal agencies, tribal governments, or other recognized authorities are especially encouraged to participate.
