Lynda Cull is an experienced prescribed fire practitioner, California State-Certified Prescribed Fire Burn Boss (CARX), and chain saw operator dedicated to helping landowners safely manage vegetation and reduce wildfire risk. She has extensive experience supporting prescribed fire operations, fuels reduction projects, community-based fire resilience efforts, and hands-on field training throughout California.
As an instructor and mentor, Lynda emphasizes safe chain saw operations, proper personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard assessment, and practical techniques for working in wildland environments. Her teaching style combines real-world experience with a strong commitment to safety, helping students build confidence while developing essential skills for land stewardship and wildfire preparedness.
Lynda works closely with landowners, Prescribed Burn Associations (PBAs), nonprofits, and community groups to expand prescribed fire capacity and support the safe return of good fire to California’s landscapes. Through training, mentoring, and field leadership, she continues to play an important role in developing the next generation of prescribed fire and fuels management practitioners.
